Sketching myself while sketching ( inception kind of sketch)

The sketches are done on procreate with pencil brush.








Communication wearing masks is funny as well as annoying at times because one cannot hear clearly or see the facial expressions!
Live sketching during these times somehow made me realize that people had started distancing in pre-covid times due to various reasons, but suddenly when we have restricted social interaction, we are keen on interacting with each other!

Live sketching people around my society made me observe how they interact with each other or their surroundings.

Suppose, if a person is sitting, i could observe him changing his expressions with his ongoing thoughts or might be seeing other people or kids playing around.

What is a point ?  What is a dot ? In design, a point becomes a dot when it has dimension . A point does not give meaning to the space but a dot does define the space . What is a line ? Narrating an eating experience through abstract visuals!!!

Have you ever thought of relating taste and feeling of having your favourite dish to colour(s) or music/sound? Most of us don't even realize that we taste our food by seeing it first , smelling it and then at the end, we finally let our taste buds judge! So, in our first task in composition module, we were supposed to paint our feelings about having our favourite dish thinking about the music or sound we can associate with that feeling. My favourite dish is Chaanar Boraar Jhol: My love! (Bengali Homemade Cottage Cheese Curry without onion and garlic) I am excited about having chaanar borar jhol with rice the moment I can smell the curdling of milk or with just hearing that the milk is accidentally spoilt!!! Explore, Experience and Evolve with Colours

My favourite colour is yellow, the moment I see yellow, it brightens my mood though I am not a fan of turmeric milk. Green isn't my favourite colour, but a colour of nostalgia as I grew up in the northeastern part, the greens of the banana plant, the greens of the assam tea gardens enroute Silchar Airport, the green of the decaying ponds(pukur) in Kolkata, reminds me of my childhood memories! I wanted to use all my colours that I bought during my architecture school, so this is a piece where I let myself flow with rotring brown ink and black waterproof ink.
